What’s left to say about Iceland, other than: it’s your mission as a travel enthusiast to visit this fantastic country at least once in your life. Yes, Iceland has become incredibly touristy, but for good reason: it’s hauntingly beautiful, it’s safe and clean, it’s boasts a variety of incredible (hard to believe sometimes) landscapes. There’s lava, moss, black beaches, waterfalls, rainbows, volcanoes, glaciers, lakes, more moss, horses and sheep. What’s not to love? Alright, perhaps the traffic on the road, the shitload of tourist buses parked near a stunning waterfall. But venture deeper into the country and you get Iceland all to yourself (at least for a short while).
