An other-worldly experience, that’s how a trip to Namibia feels. In terms of landscapes there are few other countries in this world that can match the beauty of Namibia (perhaps Iceland as a counterpart in the northern hemisphere). It’s a land of landscapes, where the oldest desert in the world meets the Atlantic Ocean, where the dunes form a ruggedly beautiful wasteland that stretches for hundreds of miles. One of the highlights is without a doubt Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, probably the most photographed parts of the country. Namibia is also home to wildlife parks such as Etosha (admittedly, Botswana is way better for wildlife viewing, but does not have such stunning scenery), where you can spot the Big Five – and way more than that.
